I was born in Munich and grew up in the foothills of the Alps in southern Bavaria. I did my Abitur at the musical Pestalozzi Gamnasium in Munich, where I was able to make my school days much more pleasant with a focus on art and music.

I then studied visual communication at the Kunsthochschule Kassel with a focus on printmaking and illustration. During my studies I was employed at the university as an illustrator and graphic designer for various departments for 4 years and was represented by a local gallery, which made it easier for me to start my own business in 2014. After graduation (Master of Arts, with distinction) I went to Berlin where I did illustrations for various agencies, publishers and private customers.

My daughter was born in 2017 and I accepted the offer for half-time job as an illustrator and infographic designer at in Prenzlauer Berg. Since we moved to the Berlin area, there is also enough space for a printing studio in which I make etchings and linocuts.
